THE LOOP PROJECT

Supporting women. Keeping fashion in motion.

The Loop Project is Bungalo Beach’s community initiative that ensures clothing continues to do good.

When sellers bring clothing to Bungalo Beach, items that aren’t selected for resale can be donated through The Loop Project rather than going back home or into landfill.

We also accept direct clothing donations from the community, allowing anyone to contribute to the program.

Every donated item is carefully sorted by our team.

Pieces that are most needed are delivered to local non-profit organizations supporting women facing housing insecurity, including those rebuilding stability and preparing for employment and a fresh start in our community.

Other pieces are recirculated back onto Bungalo Beach racks as affordable thrift finds, helping clothing stay in use while keeping fashion accessible.

* The recirculated items also help cover the real costs of running the project — including sorting, storage, and transporting donations to our community partners.

A Local Loop

The Loop Project keeps clothing moving within the community.

A piece may arrive at Bungalo Beach from one closet, find a new life on our racks, and eventually support someone else who needs it.

By keeping clothing in circulation, we can support local organizations, reduce textile waste, and make secondhand fashion more accessible.

Nothing goes to waste.

Why It Matters

Textile waste is one of the fastest growing waste streams, and millions of pounds of clothing end up in landfills every year.

The Loop Project offers a simple alternative — keeping clothing in motion while supporting people locally.

Through this initiative we are able to:

• support women through local non-profit organizations
• keep clothing out of landfill
• extend the life of wearable garments
• make secondhand fashion more accessible

Every item donated through The Loop Project helps strengthen a circular fashion system right here in our community.
